A psychoeducator's day doesn't end when the last client leaves. Every session owes a note — written to the practitioner's own professional order and CIUSSS conventions, defensible if it's ever reviewed — and for most practitioners that note gets written after hours, at home, stacked on top of tomorrow's caseload already waiting. Many practitioners have started pasting client notes into ChatGPT to save time, which is exactly the practice that puts a vulnerable client's identity in front of a vendor with no idea what it's supposed to do with it.

The tools built for this moment weren't built for it. Generic transcription apps don't know a professional order's conventions. Generic AI chat has no memory of how a specific practitioner writes, and no boundary around a client's identity. So the admin keeps piling into evenings and weekends, and the risk rides along with it.

How we're doing it

We built Wendy Doodat: the practitioner dictates a session note right after it ends — never during, since a psychoeducator never writes or records in front of a client — and gets back a draft in their own professional order's format in about fifteen seconds. They review it, correct it, sign it; the tool learns from every correction, so the next draft sounds more like the practitioner wrote it themself. Client identities are encrypted on the practitioner's own device before anything is sent anywhere — the vendor is built so it structurally cannot read who a note is about, and the AI drafting the note never sees a name.

Wendy Doodat is the first product built this way, not the only one planned. Doodat AI is the family name for that same idea applied wherever a regulated or high-context profession is drowning in its own admin — Gowen and Aiden are its siblings, each its own build, each carrying the same "adapts to you" premise into a different job.

Where it stands today

Wendy Doodat is a real, working build — dictation, OPPQ-conventions drafting, client-identity encryption, and sign-off are built and tested, developed directly with a working Quebec psychoeducator. Access is invite-only today, a real gate rather than a marketing device, running on an interim holding page while the remaining launch items — commerce terms, pricing go-live, the legal-entity paperwork — clear. The Doodat AI family site is drafted and handed off for build; it isn't the product's live surface yet.
